Why I Coach

My professional foundation includes a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a certificate in Executive Coaching, and training as a mediator. This diverse background provides profound insights into human behavior, inner resilience, and effective communication.

For years, I witnessed the relentless ambition and pursuit of excellence in high-performing individuals, often accompanied by the silent battle with overwhelm, anxiety, and the feeling of being perpetually 'on.'

My own journey, and my observations from my time as a therapist, revealed a crucial truth:

While in my role as a therapist, I recognized a foundational shift evolving in my philosophy and approach to the work. My focus wasn't on treating symptoms; instead, my passion was in uncovering what those symptoms were truly signaling needed to change. 

I wanted to guide individuals in harvesting their inherent strengths and resources, empowering them to redirect and adapt to achieve their desired goals.

I started craving a more collaborative model, as the expert-driven nature of traditional therapy often felt like a barrier.

My passion for this work isn't just theoretical; it stems directly from experiencing firsthand the transformative power of living in alignment with one's natural energy. For years, I struggled with my own energy, often feeling drained and misplacing my efforts into conventional approaches that simply didn't work for me.

I navigated the unique challenges of executive dysfunction, which often made sticking with long-term plans difficult and left me feeling depleted and defeated when common fixes inevitably failed.

I spent years beating myself up, pouring my energy into trying to force those methods, rather than finding strategies that truly aligned with my inherent design. This personal journey solidified my belief:

It was through this struggle and discovery that The Ashawlaway Method was developed. This method is a way to finding strategies that genuinely work for you, by understanding and redirecting your energy effectively.

The changing seasons offer a framework for understanding the natural cycles of energy expenditure and replenishment. Just as nature cycles through distinct seasons, our lives also experience periods of growth, activity, rest, and reflection. I will help you attune to these natural rhythms and adjust your approach accordingly.

External Seasons: 
These are the familiar cycles of nature: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. They provide a metaphor for the predictable rhythms in life. I will help you align your actions and goals with the energy of the external season. For example, Spring can represent a time of new beginnings and growth, while Winter can represent a time of rest and reflection.

hese refer to the natural cycles within a person's life, which may or may not align with the external seasons, such as:
